Palatine firefighter/paramedics responded about 12:46 AM Sunday to a report of a transformer that exploded at Quentin Road and Palatine Road Palatine, IL. Police and firefighters received numerous activated alarms about 11:52 a.m. Sunday. At the same time people reported a transformer explosion near Quentin Road and Palatine Road.
Most of the customers that lost power are reported to be in Arlington Heights. ComEd reports only 5 customers are without power near Palatine Road and Quentin Road.
