Dryer Fire Extinguished by Firefighters on West Hackberry Drive Near Kennicott Avenue, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 9:39 AM Monday to a dryer fire at a home in the block of 900 West Hackberry Drive Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that flames and smoke were showing behind the clothes dryer.

Engine 4’s crew reported smoke showing on arrival and immediately went to work to extinguish the fire and check for extension to the walls of the home.

Palatine and Buffalo Grove firefighters assisted Arlington Heights firefighters. The fire was extinguished by 9:45 a.m.
