High school teacher Megan Silberberger confronted the Marysville-Pilchuch High School shooter after he had already shot several victims.

Megan Silberberger has denied any interviews with media, but word is out that the teacher may have interfered with the shooter as he tried to reload his weapon. A law enforcement source said that witnesses told him that Silberberger put her arm on the shooter after rushing toward the sound of the gunshots. The shooter, Jaylen Fryberg, then shot himself. Silberberger also attempted to save one of the victims with CPR after the gunman had shot himself.

Silberberger is a full-time teacher in her first year at Marysville-Pilchuck High School.
