A quick investigation Thursday by Arlington Heights police resulted in the arrest of one suspect who attempted to steal a woman’s purse at the Dunkin’ Donuts in the 2100 block of South Arlington Heights Road. The woman notified police about 1120 a.m. after someone attempted to steal her purse in the Dunkin’ Donuts. The suspect was with a group of males who were in the Dunkin’ Donuts. After a quick investigation, Arlington Heights Police officers were able to identify the male that attempted to steal the purse. The suspected was arrested just after noon Thursday.
