Salsa 17’s “Pancho” Man Statue Stolen Thursday Night, Campbell St, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 10:32 PM Thursday of a theft of a statue from Salsa 17, 17 West Campbell Street Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders took Salsa 17’s Pancho mascot statue. The large statue was described as a hard plastic, 5’8” tall, weighing 80 lbs is valued at $1000. Pancho, the statue, is described as a white male, with a moustache, white and blue sombrero with Salsa 17 written on it. The statue is also wearing a white shirt with a red jacket, a black bow tie and light blue pants. A large chalkboard is also attached to the statue.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Thursday, October 9, 2014 between 9:00 p.m. and 10:31 p.m.
