Graffiti and Phrases Spray-Painted at Greenbrier Park on Roanoke Dr, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 11:01 AM Monday of criminal damage to property at Greenbrier Park, 1490 W. Roanoke Drive Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders used black, blue, and green spray paint to graffiti the park walkways and tennis courts. The following phrases were spray painted: “people over profits, live free, are you happy, never stop dreaming, we will not be silenced.” Various signs and symbols were also applied to the area. The cost to repair the damage was unknown at the time of the report.

The crime is reported to have occurred between Sunday, September 14, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. and Monday, September 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.

The Greenbrier Park is located west of Kennicott Avenue and south of Rand Road.
