Austin police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 1:30 p.m. to a report that a small, private aircraft crashed near the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport along Highway 71 between Highway 183 and Toll 130 or near SH-71 and FM 973. The crash has killed one person, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.
