High Value Bicycle Theft at Village Green Condos Garage on Vail Ave Between Campbell St and Wing St, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 10:51 AM Saturday of a theft of a $1200 bicycle from the Village Green parking garage, 44 North Vail Avenue, Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender — captured on video — took the victim’s unlocked maroon Grand Prix 26” men’s racing bicycle with a wire mesh basket, white handlebar tape, and a blue/white Vail Street condo sticker on it, valued at $1200. The offender was captured on video and is described as a white male, 30-50 years old, long hair, wearing a faded multicolored shirt, dark shorts, and white gym shoes. He was carrying a large dark backpack.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Saturday, September 6, 2014 between 10:40 a.m. and 10:50 a.m.
