Another Catalytic Converter Theft at Metra Lot Near Northwest Highway And Wilke Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report on Thursday of a catalytic converter theft at the Metra train station lot, 2121 West Northwest Highway Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders removed the catalytic converter from the victim’s gray 2004 Pontiac. Replacement cost was $980.

The crime is reported to have occurred on August 26, 2014 between 7:30 a.m. and 7:15 p.m., but wasn’t reported until September 4, 2014.
