A new building in New York is being constructed with two separate entrances. One is specifically for the less affluent.

Residents in a new Brooklyn high-rise have one entrance for lower income families, and another door to facilities with higher amenities.

Mayor Bill de Blasio plans to eliminate the “Poor Door” concept, but voted in favor of the zoning as a New York City Councilman.
