Downed Line in Arlington Heights, Sparks In Houses in Mount Prospect — Near Dana Point Condos Arlington Heights

Mount Prospect firefighter/paramedics and Arlington Heightsfirefighter/paramedics responded about 1:08 PM Sunday to 15 Hatlen Ave Mount Prospect, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that power lines were down in the area of 1400 and 1600 East Central Road.

There is a report of an underground power line causing sparks in houses near Hatlen Avenue and Grindel Drive and a downed power line causing smoke near East Central Road and Arthur Avenue.

Firefighters discovered a downed line “pole-to-pole” between the backyards of homes in Hatlen Drive and Dana Point Condominiums in Mount Prospect.

According to the ComEd outage map about 214 customers are affected by the power outage, crews are working on damaged power lines, and the estimated restoration tim e 9:00 p.m. Sunday night.
