Possible Tornado Touchdown Near Mendota, Illinois and Earlville, Illinois

UPDATE: Aerial surveillance operations this Tuesday morning about 8:30 a.m.

Reports of a tornado touchdown in the area of Earlville, Illinois and Mendota, Illinois with firefighters staging possibly at US 34 and Greenbrier Road. The path of the possible tornado touchdown between Mendota and Earlville.

Calls for mutual aid were requested immediately after the NWS issued a Tornado Warning for southwest Cook County and northwest Will County. Numerous trees were down and debris, including roof pieces and window frames were reported scattered on the ground.
