Small Kitchen Fire at a House on North Evergreen Ave, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 3:41 PM Wednesday to a report of a house fire in the block of 700 North Evergreen Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that there was a fire in the kitchen at the house, and upon arrival received a report that the fire was out.

Engine 2 crew on arrival reported nothing showing from the house, and minutes later reported the fire was out. Crews immediately went to work on ventilation to clear smoke from a small fire in a kitchen.

Extra firefighters were immediately returned or held up on their response.
