Vehicle Burglary; Stolen Cash, Credit Cards from Purse on North Fernandez Ave, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 5:30 AM Tuesday of a vehicle burglary in the block of 1800 North Fernandez Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders gained entry to the victim’s unlocked red 2011 GMC Acadia. A purse left on the floorboard of the vehicle was found on the ground next to the vehicle. A wallet from inside the purse was missing- the wallet contained $60 cash and credit cards.

The crime is reported to have occurred between Monday May 5, 2014 at 8:00 a.m. and Tuesday May 6, 2014 at 5:29 a.m.

There were at least seven other vehicle burglaries recently in the neighborhood and nearby neighborhoods.
