Arlington Heights Weather Forecast: Rain Late Afternoon Continuing Through Friday, Highs in 40s

Chicagoland weather radar [LIVE PRECIPITATION TYPE RADAR] is all clear at about 6:40 a.m. The next chance for precipitation is forecast to start as early as 3:00 p.m. Wednesday and end as late as about 6:00 p.m. Friday. Total rainfall from today until Friday at noon is forecast to be about 1.1 inch.

Satellite images show a band of clouds across north central Illinois just south of Chicagoland with clouds moving in to northwest Illinois. Clouds are sparse this morning with sunrise, but clouds are expected to increase to bring mostly cloudy conditions by noon or afternoon.

Gusty winds are forecast today through Friday evening.
