Attempted Theft of Blackhawks Jersey at Sport Outlet Express, Employee Chased Offender, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 3:13 PM Monday to a report of attempted retail theft at Sports Outlet Express, 386 East Golf Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender attempted to remove a Blackhawks jersey, valued at $170.00, from the store. The offender is described as a male/white, 25-30 years-old, wearing a black hoodie and dark blue jeans. The offender ran from the scene after being chased by a store employee.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Monday, March 10, 2014 at about 3:12 p.m.
