Chicagoland weather radar [LIVE PRECIPITATION TYPE RADAR] shows snow passing through the area mostly across McHenry County and Lake County. A dusting of snow of less than 0.125 inch fell about 4:00 a.m. in the northwest suburbs.
Some additional very light snow is possible until about 8:00 a.m. The next chance for snow is about 6:00 p.m. Tuesday until about noon Wednesday. About 2.1 inches of snow is possible by noon Wednesday. The relatively significant snow is expected to start about 9:00 p.m.
