Palatine police received a report about 6:01 AM Wednesday of criminal trespass to vehicle in a parking lot in the block of 1200 East Windham Drive Palatine, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders entered and ransacked two unlocked vehicles in the 1200 block and the 1300 block. The offender(s) targeted the glove boxes and center consoles in the vehicles. Nothing was reported missing.
The crime is reported to have occurred between Tuesday February 11, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. and Wednesday February 12, 2014 at 6:30 a.m.
Vehicle burglaries were also reported in two vehicles in the same time period.
