Schaumburg police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 7:43 PM Saturday to a report of an attached garage fire 1118 Manchester Road Schaumburg, IL. Schaumburg Fire Department’s Battalion Chief on arrival reported heavy smoke coming from the rear of the garage.

Firefighters worked to cut open the overhead garage door, immediately knocked down the fire in the garage and garage attic, and then checked for extension into the house.
