DUI Arrest at Algonquin Rd and Reserve Dr, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police arrested a DUI driver 2:05 AM Saturday near Algonquin Road and Reserve Drive Arlington Heights, IL. Police observed a silver 2009 VW Jetta on traveling east on Algonquin Road west of Reserved Drive without headlights activated. The vehicle was also drifting across lane lines. Police committed to a traffic stop and reported they discovered a strong odor of alcohol on the male driver’s breath during the traffic stop at Algonquin Road and Reserve.

Police arrested Christopher W. Bailey, of the 300 block of South 9th Avenue, Maywood.

Police transported the driver in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters. The driver’s vehicle was towed to a police holding area.

Police reported Bailey has never had a valid drivers license.
