UNSEASONABLY COLD
An arctic cold front entered northern Illinois overnight. Winds have picked up from the northwest at about 21 mph with gusts to up to 31 mph. Winds won’t diminish significantly until about 10:00 p.m. Saturday/Sunday overnight will still bring a stiff wind at about 13 mph with a Wind Chill low of -3.
High 25 today and low 11 tonight is well below the normal high/low of 44/29. Freezing or below freezing temperatures are expected to continue until Thanksgiving Day.
