Man Gets Punched After He Startles Another Man With Popped Balloon at Fox & Hound On Dundee Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 11:34 PM Tuesday to a battery at Fox & Hound Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that a male, unknown age, popped a balloon next to another male near his back. The noise startled the man, and he also felt a poke in his back. The man turned around and struck the man that popped the balloon. He struck the man once, but the victim fell and struck his head — causing a laceration.

The man was transported by Arlington Heights Fire Department transported the injured man to Northwest Community Hospital, where he was treated and released.

The offender apparently fled, and there was no description available.
