Some speculate that Red Sox pitcher Jon Lester cheated in Game 1 of the World Series using a substance in his glove.

Photos and video of World Series Game 1 Boston Red Sox starting pitcher Jon Lester have led to suspicion that a foreign substance, possibly Vaseline was on his glove. Baseballs with foreign substance on the ball, such as pine tar or Vaseline, can have more “drag” than normal baseballs, which can cause more spin or movement to their pitches.

Tyler Melling a minor league pitcher with the St. Louis Cardinals posted a tweet with suspicious picture, but has since deleted the tweet.

Game 3 is Saturday October 26, 2013 at 7:07 p.m.

The St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Red Sox (4-2) in Game 2, after getting smeared in Game 1 by a score of 8-1.
