Chicagoland weather radar [LIVE RADAR] is all clear in northeast Illinois with some precipitation over eastern Lake Michigan. Small scattered precipitation is indicated over far northwest Illinois.

Satellite images indicate clear skies over most of western Illinois with the trailing edge of clouds passing the Illinois-Indiana border. Further north this exiting system is associated with snow showers in North Dakota, northern Minnesota, northern Wisconsin and Upper Michigan.

The high today is expected to hit 53 degrees from about 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Wind chill starts at 6:00 p.m. at about 44 degrees falling to 32 degrees at about 7:00 a.m. The actual low is expected to be 36 degrees at about 7:00 a.m. PATCHY FROST is expected between 2:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Sunday.

Widespread frost is forecast overnight Monday/Tuesday, and a chance of rain and snow showers if forecast for Tuesday night through Wednesday.

Partly sunny, with a high near 54. West southwest wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Precipitation is indicated over north central Indiana. Clouds are expected to be a mix with partly sunny skies, and then clearing by about 9:00 p.m.

A stiff wind is expected from the west at about 15 mph after 11:00 a.m. with gusts to 24 mph after 1:00 p.m. Gusts should end by about 7:00 p.m.
