Arlington Heights Weather Forecast: Rain A Little Thunder Tonight, Clearing By Sunday Morning With Low 70s

Chicago area radar [LIVE RADAR] indicates fast moving light precipitation in a large line of precipitation from central Illinois to northern Illinois entering the Rockford area. A band of clouds associated with the approaching cold front extends from Canada down through Wisconsin, Illinois, through Texas and into Mexico.

Rain is expected to start in Arlington Heights about 7:00 p.m. There could be a little thunder until about midnight. Less than one-half inch of rain is expected by 3:00 a.m. Sunday.

Winds are expected to shift from the west about 11:00 p.m., from the northwest about 1:00 a.m. and from the north about 10:00 a.m.

Skies should start to clear after 1:00 a.m. with mostly clear skies by 8:00 a.m. Sunday with temperatures back to the low 70s Sunday and Monday and low 80s Tuesday.
