Residential Burglary on South Vail Avenue, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 6:16 PM Saturday of a residential burglary at in the block of 1100 South Vail Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders burglarized a residence apparently by entering a window. A kitchen window was discovered broken with the screen lifted out.

Offender(s) took two jewelry boxes that contained a large amount of jewelry. No value estimate was available.

Also reported stolen was a Craftsman chain saw, valued at $300, and a six-pack of beer.

The crime is reported to have occurred between Thursday, September 12, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. and Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 6:15 p.m.
