Arlington Heights police responded about 3:40 AM Thursday to a report of a vehicle burglary in progress in the 600 West Grove Street Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders burglarized two vehicles parked on a driveway, but nothing was reported missing. rPolice responded after the victim heard a car alarm and discovered unknown offender(s) entered his silver 2011 Jeep Patriot (no alarm) without any signs of force and removed a Garmin GPS valued at $200. A second vehicle in the neighborhood was located with a door ajar. It is unknown if anything was missing from the vehicle.
The crime is reported to have occurred on Thursday September 5, 2013 at about 3:40 a.m.
