Arlington Heights Rainfall About 0.3″ Two Times: Much Needed Rain Soaks Chicagoland

Much needed rain soaks Chicagoland yesterday and this morning. The Cardinal rain gauge measure just 0.3 inches of rainfall Friday between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Another quick rainfall Saturday morning about 10:30 a.m. dropped just under 0.3 inches of rainfall.

Rainfall yesterday was just 0.3″ yesterday between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Rain should be done for today. Radar [LIVE RADAR] indicates storms are in south Chicago and southwest suburbs — heading toward Indiana and southern Michigan.

Impressive clouds were witnessed by many people yesterday, but lightning was minimal near Arlington Heights. More lightning strikes were indicated east and west of Arlington Heights and west of Arlington Heights.

Regarding the closest lightning yesterday, much more lightning was indicated in De Kalb County and Kane County to the west, and near the Lake Michigan lakefront in Cook County to the east.
