Theft of $7.7K Coins from Display Case During Open Business at Arlington Coin, on E Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 4:01 PM Wednesday to a report of retail theft of coins at Arlington Coin, 8 East Northwest Highway Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that one offender distracted the employee while two other offenders removed several coins (some gold) from an open display case. The coins are valued at $7,740.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Wednesday July 31, 2013 between 3:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
