Gun in Glove Compartment: Forney Police Dash Cam Video Shows George Zimmerman’s Personal Vehicle

“You didn’t see my name?” George Zimmerman police dashcam shows a traffic stop for speeding.

During a police traffic stop on Highway 80 in Forney, east of Dallas, George Zimmerman is heard answering that he is going “nowhere in particular.” And asks, “You didn’t see my name?” The police officer answers, “What a coincidence.” The police officer asks him if he is clear of warrants and tells him to calm down … “you’re good.”

It’s ironic that the audio of his driver’s license information is blanked out for his protection, but his vehicle is clearly displayed — a gray Honda pickup truck. A worrisome occurrence for Zimmerman, regarding potential encounters with people that might want to retaliate. George Zimmerman’s brother, Robert Zimmerman Jr., reacted on Twitter on Wednesday, after news broke about the traffic stop: “Our family receives many death threats. We all continue to take our security seriously and to ensure our safety in accordance with the law.”

It sounds like the police officer calls him a white male, but he is actually a male/Hispanic.

Zimmerman was apparently issued a warning for speeding, and did not receive a citation.

Police dashcam video released Wednesday shows George Zimmerman being pulled over and given a warning for speeding outside Dallas. A Florida jury acquitted him in the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin.
