Diamond Insight Bicycle Theft at Downtown Apartment Storage on North Dunton Ave, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received reports over the weekend of July 27th and July 28th of bicycle thefts at Hancock Square Apartments, 299 North Dunton Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders took a blue men’s Diamond Insight 1 — a 17-inch wheel bicycle valued at $800.

Two Canondale R700 bicycles valued at $1,000 each, and a dark green Trek 7.3 women’s bicycle valued at $800 were also reported stolen.

The crimes are reported to have occurred between July 20, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. and July 27, 2013 at 9:00 a.m., and between July 27, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. and July 28, 2013 at 5:30 p.m.

The police officer on the scene discovered pry marks on one of two doors of the storage room.
