NYPD Emergency Service Unit Officers responded about 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 7, 2026 to a high-rise building on Duffield Street in Brooklyn to rescue a woman who was sitting outside the guardrail on the corner of the top floor of the building.

At one point, an officer carefully inches toward the woman telling her “We care about you. We don’t want to see you hurt yourself.”
