


They weren’t caught red-handed or brown-handed, but a couple of senior Arlington Heights residents are facing charges after they went afoul of village community standards, and applied poop as a vile political statement of hate at a Republican political organization and campaign office. The alleged perpetrators of the smear were caught after some community do-gooders did the right thing, and provided tips about the poo poo tossers to the po-po.
Arlington Heights Police Department announced Tuesday evening, March 24, 2026, the arrest of two suspects connected to a criminal damage to property and criminal defacement case involving apparent political motives at the Republicans of Wheeling Township storefront office on Rand Road near Beverly Avenue. According to the Arlington Heights Police Department, detectives conducted an investigation into the defacement of the Republicans of Wheeling Township storefront office in a strip mall, and positively identified 72-year-old Brock McNerney and 69-year-old Moisette McNerney of the 1200 block of East Clarendon Street in Arlington Heights.
Arlington Heights Police Department has identified the two individuals as the offenders responsible for vandalizing the storefront location of the Republicans of Wheeling Township office. According to the Arlington Heights Police Department, Brock and Moisette McNerney were taken into custody without incident on Monday, March 23, 2026.
Brock McNerney and Moisette McNerney were charged with two misdemeanor offenses, and were released pending their initial court appearance. They were not charged with a hate crime.

There is an individual “Brock McNerney” listed as a financial adviser, according to an IAPD (Investment Adviser Public Disclosure) report provided by the SEC (Security Exchange Commission), but initially there is no confirmation that the financial adviser is the same person as the suspect in the criminal damage and defacement case in Arlington Heights. The IAPD report indicates that Brock McNerney has passed zero principal/supervisory exams, two general industry/product exams, and two state securities law exams. The report indicates that Brock R. McNerney is not currently registered, but has previously been registered with three securities firms.
There is an individual “Moisette McNerney” listed as a Special Ed Teacher Substitute at a private high school located in Chicagoland for “diverse learners” but initially there is no confirmation that the substitute teacher is the same person as the suspect in the criminal damage and defacement case in Arlington Heights.

Multiple curse words and profanities (including “F*** ICE”).
Nazi symbols/swastikas (Specifically, a poster or image of murdered, conservative activist Charlie Kirk was defaced with Nazi symbols).
Other antisemitic or hateful markings.
Feces throwing/feces distribution
Unknown/suspicious liquid application on the walkway leading to the storefront office door.
There were two acts of vandalism discovered at the Republicans of Wheeling Township storefront office. The first act of vandalism occurred on Saturday, December 20, 2025. The second act of vandalism occurred on Sunday, January 25, 2026.
Police from Arlington Heights received the report in late January of vandalism at the Republicans of Wheeling Township headquarters at 909 East Rand Road in Arlington Heights. Windows were marked up with obscenities with a black marker, allegedly by two offenders — a male white and a female white. The crime was reported to have occurred at 11:00 p.m. Sunday, January 25, 2026.
Images of the offenders were captured on a security camera.
The two individuals in these videos are persons of interest.
The Arlington Heights Police Department is seeking help in identifying the people in these videos for investigation.
