Police officers from Mount Prospect responded Wednesday afternoon or evening, November 19, 2025 to a report of an armed robbery at the El Amigo Carniceria grocery store, 403 East Euclid Avenue in Mount Prospect.
Mount Prospect police posted the alert on Facebook at 6:05 p.m., but did not indicate what time the robbery occurred.
The Mount Prospect Police Department indicated that the offender fled the scene in a vehicle prior to police arrival. Initially, there was no vehicle description or suspect description provided by the Mount Prospect Police Department.
Although the crime was classified as an armed robbery, there was not weapon description provided by the Mount Prospect Police Department.
The Mount Prospect Police Department indicated there were no injuries reported.
El Amigo Carniceria is located in a strip mall at the intersection of Euclid Avenue and Wheeling Road, just east of the Jewel-Osco at Randhurst Village.
