The Montgomery Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a male Hispanic individual suspected of stabbing a pregnant woman on Saturday morning, August 23, 2025 in Montgomery, Illinois.
Ricardo Perez-Fuentes, a Hispanic male, age 39, with dark hair, estimated height between 5’4” and 5’6”, approximately 190 LBS was last seen wearing dark pants and a dark colored jacket. He is the suspect believed to be involved in a stabbing reported in the block of 2200 Jericho Road on the west side of Montgomery. The suspect fled the scene in an unknown manner and is at large.
If you see this individual, please do not approach him; he may be armed. Anyone with information is urged to contact 911.

Police officers from Montgomery responded about 8:30 a.m. Saturday, August 23, 2025 to a report that a pregnant woman had been stabbed multiple times in the block of 2200 Jericho Road in Montgomery. The female stabbing victim and the unborn child were transported to Rush Copley Hospital in Aurora. They were listed in critical but stable condition, according to the Montgomery Police Department.
