Attempted Burglary on South Belmont Ave, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 10:46 PM Saturday of an attempted residential burglary of a detached garage in the block of 1200 South Belmont Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that offenders were seen trying to enter a detached garage through a side service door. They fled northbound after the owner came out of the back door. There was no damage and nothing was taken.

The crime is reported to have occurred Saturday May 4, 2013 at 10:45 p.m.

The offenders were described as two male/white subjects, 20 to 30 years-old. One was wearing a Cubs hoodie and shorts and one was wearing jeans and dark jacket.
