Arlington Heights police received a report about 8:01 AM Tuesday of a vehicle burglary in the block of 2200 East Palatine Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders entered the UNLOCKED detached garage and then entered the UNLOCKED silver 2002 Buick Lesabre. They took the contents of the glove box and threw them around the front seats before igniting the papers on the passenger side floor. The papers burnt out without causing significant damage to the vehicle.
The crime is reported to have occurred between 04/08 at 5:00pm and 04/09 at 8:00am.
