Hoffman Estates police received a report about 1:02 PM Friday April 15, 2022 of a stolen auto from the Mobil gas station, 1West Golf Road Hoffman Estates, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender stole a dark blue 2016 Infiniti QX60.
The suspect was described as a male/white subject, age 25 with short hair. The crime was reported to have occurred at 1:02 p.m.
A Lombard police officer sighted the vehicle near Roosevelt Road and Finley Road at 6:59 p.m. The stolen vehicle was last seen by Lombard police southbound on Finley Road from Butterfield Road.
Next, a Downers Grove police officer sighted the vehicle about 7:07 p.m. on I-355 northbound approaching Roosevelt Road. The offender accelerated and fled at about 92 MPH but no pursuit was initiated. The vehicle was last seen northbound on I-355.
The vehicle was sighted again on eastbound I-290 near 1st Ave in Maywood about 7:20 p.m.
