Chance of 1.5 Inches of Snow Sunday in Northwest Suburbs, Higher Accumulations Possible South Suburbs

Snow accumulation outlook Sunday 6 AM to Monday 6 AM from National Weather Service.

The National Weather Service models indicate about 1.5 inches of snow is expected to accumulate between 7:00 a.m. Sunday and 7:00 a.m. Monday. The heaviest snowfall rate is expected to occur between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Sunday. At this point in the outlook, there is only a 50 percent chance that the northwest suburbs will experience a snow accumulation of somewhere between 1-2 inches.

High temps the next few days are expected to be in the 30s with 40-degree temps starting on Wednesday.
