Theft of Gas at Speedway at Palatine Rd and Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 10:06 PM Monday of theft of gas from Speedway, 1902 North Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an offender pumped $95.64 worth of gas from pump #6 into an older white van, entered the station and purchased a pack of cigarettes. The subject then left without paying for the gas. The white vehicle was last seen heading westbound on Palatine Road.

The offender was described as an a older male/white subject with long gray hair and beard, and wearing construction worker type clothing.

Police are checking license registration.
