The Super Bowl was delayed because of a power outage Sunday, leading to a 34-minute delay in the biggest game of the year. When it happened, the Baltimore Ravens were leading the San Francisco 49ers 28-6.

The Superdome hosted the Super Bowl in 2013 between the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco. A power failure affected part of the stadium and media output, which halted game play for more than 30 minutes in the third quarter. The power failure appeared to shift the momentum in favor of the San Francisco 49ers, but the Ravens still won the game, 34-31.
