Arlington Heights police responded about 3:35 PM Monday to a report of a retail theft suspect detained at Best Buy, 615 East Palatine Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that a 15-year-old male from Arlington Heights allegedly concealed 10 Nintendo video games valued at $272.90 and attempted to walk out the front door. The security sensors activated the alarm and the subject ran toward the rear loading area doors before being stopped by Loss Prevention. All the games were recovered.
The male teen was transported in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters.
