Rosemont Police Pursuit on I-90 into Chicago with Reported Crash at Division St and Wood St in Chicago

Police from Rosemont were involved in a police pursuit on Friday May 22, 2020 reporting aggravated fleeing and eluding. The police officer initially reported the pursuit of a yellow Nissan Xterra on eastbound I-90 (southbound) from Harlem Avenue at about 9:07 p.m.

The suspect in the Nissan Xterra was described as a male/Hispanic, age 34, black goatee, wearing a black T-shirt. The yellow Xterra had a temporary license.

Eastbound I-90 passing Cicero Avenue at 9:09 p.m.

Eastbound approaching Addison at 9:10 p.m.

Eastbound passing Kimball at 9:11 p.m.

Eastbound approaching California at 9:11 p.m.

Eastbound passing Diversey at 9:12 p.m.

Eastbound passing Fullerton at 9:13 p.m.

Eastbound approaching Ashland Avenue at 9:13 p.m.

Heavy traffic after the 49 Mile Marker at 9:15 p.m.

Eastbound I-90 approaching Ohio Street at 9:16 p.m.

Suspect and pursuit exited at Ohio Street at 9:16 p.m.

Westbound Grand Ave (?) passing Racine at 9:16 p.m.

Westbound Grand Avenue passing Noble at 9:17 p.m.

Suspect turned right on Ashland back toward the Kennedy Expressway at 9:17 p.m.

Westbound Chicago Avenue at 9:18 p.m.

Right on Damen at 9:18 p.m.

Passing Augusta at 9:18 p.m.

Right on Division at 9:19 p.m.

Suspect attempted to run over Rosemont officer near Division Street and Wood Street in Chicago at 9:19 p.m. A Rosemont police unit was involved in a collision with the suspect’s vehicle near this location at about 9:19 p.m.

The suspects vehicle was last seen westbound on Division.
