Car and Minivan Crash: Minivan Smashes Traffic Signal And Control Box At Northwest Highway And Vail Ave, Arlington Heights

VIDEO: Car and minivan crash at Northwest Highway and Vail Avenue, Arlington Heights.

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 8:07 AM Monday to a report of a crash with entrapment at Northwest Highway and Vail Avenue. Police were first on the scene and reported a minivan crashed into a traffic light. The traffic light standard was down on the windshield of the minivan, and on the traffic signal control box.

Firefighter/paramedics reported no entrapment, and no injuries. Two crash victims apparently signed medical refusals.

Meade Electric was immdiately on the scene for traffic signal repairs.
