Police immediately began a search for the male suspect, and are continuing to search for the male offender.

The suspect was described as a male/white, in his 20s with a thin build and blonde hair, wearing a white T-shirt and gray shorts, according to Naperville police.

The boy and his mother were not injured in the attempted kidnapping, police said. Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call Naperville Police Department at 630-420-6666.
