One-Car Rollover Crash on Southbound Route 53 Near Rolling Meadows Injures 1 Man

VIDEO: Palatine Fire Department responds to rollover crash on Route 53, just south of Euclid Avenue.

Palatine firefighter/paramedics and the Illinois State Police responded about 1:25 PM Saturday to a rollover crash on southbound Route 53, just south of Euclid Avenue. Firefighter/paramedics received a report that the driver — about 45 -years-old crawled out of his vehicle on his own. The car was discovered on its roof. The car also hit a light pole and had tire tracks south of its resting point.

One male victim was transported to Northwest Community Hospital.

The southbound ramp to Route 53 from Euclid Avenue was blocked.
