Chicago Bears Release 2019 Season Schedule with Lots of Prime Time Games, SNF and TNF and Thanksgiving

The Bears are back to true form as NFC North champions, and back into the spotlight for prime time television for the 2019-2020 schedule. Yes, the Chicago Bears schedule was released today, and the Bears will be playing five prime-time games and making another appearance on Thanksgiving.

As previously announced the NFL season opener is at Soldier Field for the kick off the NFL’s 100th season with the Bears hosting the Packers Thursday night, Sept. 5 at Soldier Field (7:20 p.m. CT). But the rest of the 2019 schedule that was released by the NFL Wednesday includes four additional prime time night games for the Bears.

For Week 2, the Bears will travel to Denver to face the Broncos on Sunday, Sept. 15 (3:25 p.m.).

For Week 3, the Bears will make their lone Monday Night Football appearance of the season in Washington, which will mark the only time the Bears will play back-to-back road contests all year.

For Week 4, the home game against the Vikings will be Sunday, Sept. 29 at 3:25 p.m.

For Week 5, the Bears will travel to London to face the Raiders Sunday, Oct. 6 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at noon.

Week 6 is a bye,

For Week 7, the Bears will play the Saints at home Sunday, Oct. 20 at 3:25 p.m.

For Week 8, the Beas will play the Chargers at Soldier Field Sunday, Oct. 27, marking the only back-to-back home games for the Chicago Bears during the 2019-2020 season, and the first game of the season that begins at noon. The Raiders game in London kicks off at noon CT, but is actually 6 p.m. in London (GMT+1)..

For Week 9, the Bears will play the Eagles in Philadelphia on Sunday, Nov. 3 at noon.

For Week 10, the Bears will host the Lions Sunday, Nov. 10 at noon.

For Week 11 the Bears play the Rams in Los Angeles on Sunday Night Football on Nov. 17.

For Week 12, the Bears host the Giants Sunday, Nov. 24 at noon.

For Week 13 the Bears will play the Lions in Detroit on Thanksgiving Day on Nov. 28.

For Week 14, the Bears will host the Cowboys at Soldier Field for a second consecutive Thursday Night Football game on Dec. 5.

For Week 15, the Bears will play the Packers Sunday, Dec. 15. — the first time the teams will play their annual game in Green Bay at noon since 2011, and interrupting a streak of eight straight prime-time matchups at Lambeau Field.

For Week 16, the Bears will host the Chiefs on Sunday Night Football three days before Christmas on December 22.

The Bears close the season against the Vikings in Minnesota for the fourth straight year on Sunday Night Football on Dec. 29 at noon.

 PRE-SEASON … 

The Bears on Wednesday April 17, 2019 also announced dates and times for their four preseason games.

The Bears will host the Panthers at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8 at Soldier Field.

The Bears will travel to New York to play the Giants on Friday, Aug. 16 in New York at 6:30 p.m.

The Bears will play the Colts in Indianapolis on Saturday, Aug. 24 at 6 p.m.

The Bears will close the preseason by hosting the Titans on Thursday, Aug. 29 at 7 p.m.
