Prospect Heights police responded about 8:00 PM Tuesday April 16, 2019 to a report of shots fired at a victim in the block of 700 Piper Lane Prospect Heights, IL. Police received a report that a male offender in a vehicle shot at a victim and fled the scene in the vehicle. No people were struck by bullets.
The vehicle was described as a maroon 4-door hatchback missing a hubcap and having an airplane Lyft sticker in the rear window.
The offender was described as a male/Hispanic, wearing a maroon sweater and blue jeans.
The vehicle and offender were last seen westbound on Apple Drive toward Burning Bush Lane.
The crime is reported to have occurred at 8:00 p.m.
