States Atty. Kim Foxx Saying Court Clerk “May Have Made Mistake to Seal Case” Contradicts Fact that Attorney Patricia Brown Holmes Had the Case Sealed in Court

CNN’s Jeffrey Toobin and Anderson Cooper question Jussie Smollett’s attorney Tina Glandian.

Jussie Smollett’s attorney Tina Glandian completely denied that Jussie Smollett “pulled a ridiculous stunt” and said it was very offensive as it was portrayed by former associate counsel in the Department of Justice Jeff Toobin, who was in the panel discussion with Anderson Cooper and former federal prosecutor Laura Coates.

In the first half of this CNN/Anderson Cooper 360 video Cook County States Attorney Kim Foxx said parts of Smollett’s file was sealed in error. Foxx claimed that the criminal record and police report around the arrest sealed, but the the court proceedings were also sealed. In fact Smollett’s attorney Patricia Brown Holmes made the request for the case to be sealed in court.

Foxx recused herself, but was involved communications with former President Barack Obama assistant and Michelle Obama’s former Chief of Staff Tina Tchen, and was also involved with communication with an unidentified Smollett family member.
