Apple Unveils New Streaming Platform; Apple TV+ to Compete with Amazon, Hulu and Netflix

Apple unveiled its new streaming platform, Apple TV+, at an event Monday March 25, 2019. CBS News’ Jamie Yuccas attended the event at the Apple headquarters in Cupertino, Calif., and joined CBSN with the latest.

Apple announced Monday March 25, 2019 that it will produce original content on Apple TV+ to compete with sites like Netflix and Hulu. Apple also announced Apple Card coming later this year. Updates to Apple services including the App Store, Apple Pay and iNews were also announced.
